Rikki Bobby Band, also styled Rikki Bobby Band ATX. Based in Austin, Texas.
A live three-piece. Rik Avalos on lead vocals, guitar and bass. Bob Michaels on lead vocals, guitar and bass. Sonny Sanchez on drums and backing vocals. Rik and Bob swap guitar and bass duty song to song, so every chorus carries one lead voice and two backing voices.
The band can carry a whole event, not just the dance floor: ceremony music, an acoustic cocktail-hour set, a softer dinner set, MC and announcing shared by both frontmen for any event type, from wedding introductions to gala programs, auctions, corporate awards and birthday toasts, and three dance sets. Any combination can be booked. One load-in, one point of contact.
Three sets of thirteen songs, at least forty-five minutes of music per set, played nearly back to back. Thirty-nine songs and roughly two and a half hours of live music, plus an encore when the room asks for one. Cocktail hour and dinner sets are available, including an acoustic set with Sonny on percussion instead of a full kit. Ceremony music and MC duties are available on the same booking.
The band owns and hauls a full PA and stage lighting to every show and arrives self-contained for any size room. Where a venue has its own production, the band plugs into house.
